A 5km walk along the Tejo from Cais do Sodré to Belém at golden hour. Twelve conversations are easier when you're walking side by side instead of standing in a circle holding a drink.
Most networking events leave too much to chance. You end up in five polite conversations with people who can't help you and leave wondering if it was worth the trip.
GTM Connections is different.
Before every event, attendees share what they can help with and what they need help with. Twelve hours before we meet, you'll receive a list of everyone attending, who they are, what they bring to the table, and what they're trying to figure out.
You arrive knowing who to find. Every conversation has a point.
The Feedback Loop is a 5km riverside walk from Cais do Sodré to Belém along the Tejo waterfront. We meet outside Time Out Market at 6:30 PM and walk at a conversational pace, arriving in Belém around 8:15 PM. The route is flat, scenic, and passes the MAAT and Jerónimos monastery area. Walking side by side tends to open up better conversations than standing face to face at a bar.
From Belém, you can grab a drink and keep talking, get a taxi home, or walk back to Santos if you're feeling ambitious.
